735 organisations across 35 European countries are quietly replacing neoliberal capitalism with something entirely different. Half of them were founded in the last decade.
This is way more than a fringe movement.

The short version: the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Belgium are leading this shift.
You heard that right.
The same nations that built colonial capitalism are now funding its replacement. With, as the report notes, less than 1% of the capital that launched neoliberalism in the first place.
The research comes from a report called Fertile Ground, commissioned by Partners for a New Economy and carried out by Metabolic. It’s the most comprehensive mapping of the new economy ecosystem in Europe to date.
With a new economy growing and business models making it impossible to accumulate vast amounts of wealth, could this be the end of billionaires, starting in Europe?

On the list from Belgium are mostly think-tanks and advocacy organisations but there are many more small alternatif businesses and coops i know actif in many fields that are not on the list. So zlso in practice, the wellbeing rconomy is growing. Let the mycillium do it’s work and grow slowly and steady in the ruins off the old dying system. Thank you for your information and advocacy!
