Hiya from a hostel I have unexpectedly found myself in during NYC for Climate Week!
I am just stopping through on my way to Portugal for a top-secret invite-only likely-paradigm-shifting programme I’m excited to share with you soon. 👀
Last I left off, I think I had crashed and was taking a very long break after car and shelter sleeping all summer in the sweltering NC heat!
But you all have helped crowdfund over 20% of my crowdfunder for:
My two books, Of Course and The Power Memo
The community programme we’re building
12 episodes of Fridays Economics
(and also getting some rest and spending some irreplaceable uninterrupted time with my kiddo for the first time in years)
Thank you x1000000 ❤️❤️❤️
And since the break?
I have now recorded more than 12 episodes of Fridays Economics, interviewing these legends in Environment, Economics, Solarpunk, the Cooperative movement, Social Enterprise, and much more.

Above: Me interviewing (clockwise from top left) Anthony Ellis of Coop Evolution, HelpBnk Heroes host and author Rob McCauley, new-on-the-scene Nouhaila (please go welcome here and check her latest video, it’s epic!), Hopeamine’s Mawuli, Michael Mezz of Better Futures, and Filmmaker and Social Entrepreneur Dan Edelstyn at Optimistic Productions, who helped me with the crowdfunder with his Crowdfunding Blueprint Book which I recommend if you’re crowdfunding something and if you end up purchasing through this link, also gives a little commission to me / Connectioning).
Btw, these are not actually funded yet 😬😬😬
But to do this right, I needed all these recorded, then to spend the next few months editing them so they can start going out before the end of the year.
After much thought, I am remaining nomadic until my TEDx trainings are finished, through February 2027. It doesn’t make much sense to be paying rent in a house I won’t be in because I have to be out of the country spreading the word about the new economy!
But I do feel no longer homeless because I no longer have to worry I won’t have a place to stay for the night.
Again, thank you.
Now I just have to get my TEDx talk into shape and finish writing your two books for how we coordinate to a new economy ASAP.
So please keep spreading the word about the crowdfunder, our next goal is to make it to the 20k mark in the next ten days, and the next 20% within 30 days so the next three months are funded in time and I can spend more of that time hard at work on those things (rather than in fight or flight).
We are only a few subs away from Bestseller status and you can also subscribe here to support!
Also behind the scenes, this wonderful woman, Lucinda Glenny, a superstar who’s going to be speaking in Parliament next month, and who I finally got to meet at Ideasfest!
— and the legendary Kevin Lovelady of Partnering for Purpose have been working on getting all the admin sorted to get our email lists in order so when they’re ready, you’re books get to you, and when the community opens up, you will get the memo. (Please thank them when you see them!)
I qualified for this incredible (and five figure 🤯) programme due to the size of my following, I think it will be a massive benefit to all of us that I’m excited to share with you soon!
Paid members, you’ll be getting an invite for a check in next Wednesday, checking in on how you are doing and getting your input on next steps for what we’re growing here.
Look for the invite in your email!
And if you would like in but cost is a barrier, please reach out to lucie@connectioning.io and ask for a scholarship.
Lastly, I wanted to fill you in a few things going on you might be interested in!

Thanks Jessica, good to hear from you, and I'll keep that all in mind.
We're just 2 hours from New York City but don't always get over there, hard finding a day back and forth in our early Fall Schedule.
There is a relatively small Lehigh Valley Book Festival in Easton Pa. from October 13 to the 18th that I'm planning to get to for some of their events, with the writers and poets there. Also, there is a lot going on with our Delaware Appalachian Edge Bioregional Regeneration group. We were just talking yesterday with American Resiliency, some potential common interest in these rapidly changing times, how to thrive and adapt in the places that we live. And today just met and talked with Tom W. of Equal Exchange, and the farm cooperative(s), blossoming possibilities perhaps.
Always! : )
